Google Chronicle SME/Specialist - 6 months - Inside IR35 - Hybrid

We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled Google Chronicle SME/Specialist to join a prestigious financial organisation based in Canary Wharf.

This role offers a unique blend of remote work with an onsite requirement of just 1 day per week, providing the perfect balance of flexibility and engagement with the team. The client is offering an initial 6 month contract with the potential for as 19 month extension, signed off inside IR35.

Responsibilities:

• Platform Maintenance and Optimization: Lead the maintenance and optimization of the Google Chronicle platform to ensure robust security monitoring and advanced threat detection capabilities.
• Incident Monitoring and Analysis: Oversee the monitoring and analysis of security alerts and incidents, ensuring timely and effective responses to potential threats.
• Technical Leadership and Support: Provide expert technical support and strategic guidance to the cybersecurity team on Google Chronicle-related issues and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Platform Health Management: Conduct regular health checks on the platform, ensuring optimal performance and verifying the connectivity of all log sources.
• Compliance and Audits: Lead regular audits and assessments to ensure the platform's alignment with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements, and proactively address any compliance issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in maintaining and optimizing Google Chronicle or similar SIEM platforms.
• Extensive experience in monitoring and responding to security alerts and incidents.
• Strong technical leadership skills with a track record of guiding cybersecurity teams.
• Expertise in conducting platform health checks and ensuring log source connectivity.
• In-depth knowledge of organizational security policies and regulatory requirements, with experience in conducting compliance audits.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced certifications in cybersecurity (eg, CISSP, CISM, GIAC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with other cybersecurity tools and platforms.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View to Extension)
• Location: Canary Wharf 1x Day Per Week/Remote
• Day Rate: Up to £650 Per Day (Inside IR35)
