Asisstant Asset & Stock Controller

Location: Livingston

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Contract: Four Months

The Role

I am working with a longstanding client who are one of the leading IT companies in the UK. They are currently working with one of the UK's best known brands in the entertainment industry and are looking an Assistant Asset and Stock Controller to support this customer on a four month contract at their site in Livingston.

Responsibilities

• Receipt and manage incoming & outgoing assets and stock daily supporting the Asset/Stock controller.
• Physical movement of devices between storage locations on site and with customer
• Assist and support Schedulers an engineers in selecting and packaging stock for Incident and Requested items
• Cleaning and wiping of devices prior to handing into engineers for Quality assessment
• Support wider team on delivering devices to customers
• Assist in tech bar support (delivery and collection of user kit)
• Ensure forecast of stock usage is available and requesting replenishment
• Maintaining accurate stockroom with servicenow and regularly auditing to ensure rotation and accuracy of stock
• If required ensuring tech vend machines are operational and fully stocked
• Image laptop and desktop devices

Skills & Experience Required

• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Verbal and written communication skills in a professional environment
• Take initiative and understanding of time-sensitive requirements
• Experience of using ServiceNow ITSM would be advantageous
