We are looking for a Data Manager/Data Governance Consultant (375 EUROS/DAY)

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Data Load Governance Process that includes load construction, approval mechanisms, and Real Time status visibility.

The successful candidate will create and manage data load templates, maintain connectivity across various environments, and consolidate testing cycles to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.

Additionally, the role involves active risk monitoring, communication with stakeholders, and coordinating system refreshes.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement standardised processes for constructing data loads to ensure consistency and reliability.

Establish an approval mechanism and clear communication channels to keep stakeholders informed of data load statuses.

Status Visibility: Implement Real Time status tracking accessible through a Central Repository in Jira.

Develop reusable data load templates for future testing cycles, minimizing the need to recreate templates.

Central Repository in Jira: Manage and store data load templates in Jira, providing a single source of truth for the team.

Ensure continuous connectivity between various environments required for testing cycles.

System Updates and Refresh: Facilitate the integration of system updates and refresh cycles into the testing landscape.

Consolidate data management efforts for current and upcoming testing cycles, optimizing efficiency and resources.

Implement a robust system for monitoring risks related to data.

Establish channels for promptly notifying stakeholders of identified risks and mitigation plans.

Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for system refresh coordination, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.

Effectively communicate the system refresh plan to all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Proven 5+ years of experience in S4HANA/HANA Database/BW on HANA projects and rollouts.

S4HANA Basis/technical expertise.

Strong knowledge and experience in data flow, interfaces, and connectivity.

Exposure to ETL processes.

Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.

Understanding of CFIN, DDGR, Reporting systems (AFO, Webi, SCA), Anaplan, and overall security.

Knowledge of data dictionaries and data availability across technology landscapes, including Master Data, Transactional Data (Actuals), and Plan Data.

Success Criteria:

Implementation and documentation of all aspects of the Data Load Governance Process.

Creation and centralisation of data load templates in Jira.

Consistent maintenance of connectivity between testing environments, with regular audits.

Full visibility and optimisation of testing cycles and resource utilisation.

Active monitoring, tracking, and communication of data-related risks.

Successful execution of system refresh coordination within defined timelines.

Maintenance of data consistency across the technology landscape.
