Senior Neo4j Developer - 6 months - London (Hybrid) - Inside IR35

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Neo4j Aura DB Developer to join our Engineering team on a 5-month contract basis. You will play a key role in the development of a large-scale, greenfield application. Working in a dynamic Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with other engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to design and implement cutting-edge solutions using Neo4j's Aura DB.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive Experience with Neo4j Aura DB: Leverage your deep understanding of Neo4j Aura DB to architect and implement graph database solutions.
• Cypher and GraphQL Development: Write and optimize Cypher code and GraphQL schemas to support complex queries and data retrieval processes.
• Code Review and Best Practices: Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and implement industry best practices to ensure high-quality code.
• Unit Testing and Performance Optimization: Develop unit tests, perform rigorous performance tuning, and optimize queries for maximum efficiency.
• Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile teams, contributing to sprint ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Azure DevOps Tools: Utilize tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) for project management, CI/CD, and version control, ensuring seamless integration with development processes.

Skills:

• Neo4j Expertise: At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience with the Neo4j graph database, including the use of Cypher and GraphQL.
• API Usage and Extension: Proficient in utilizing and extending APIs to interact with Neo4j databases.
• Data Integration: Experience in loading data into Neo4j through data integration techniques or Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).
• Application Integration: Skilled in integrating Neo4j into broader application ecosystems, ensuring smooth data flow and interaction.
• Performance Tuning: Expertise in optimizing Neo4j databases and queries for performance and scalability.
• GraphQL Best Practices: Strong knowledge of GraphQL, including best practices for schema design and query optimization.
