We are seeking a Vulnerability Management Expert to join our client on a contract basis.

You will be based out of their Brussels office and will be required to go into the office 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpreting, analysing, and reporting information/data security events and anomalies in accordance with Information Security policies
• Assessing new vulnerabilities, investigating solutions, and recommending controls to minimise risks that could arise
• Assessing vulnerability management approaches and tailoring selected approaches towards the needs of the business covering amongst others vulnerability assessment, prioritization- and reporting.
• Documenting vulnerability management procedures and practices
• Communicating about vulnerability management practices within the business with the objective of allowing IT teams to manage better their vulnerabilities
• Assist IT teams to develop, implement, and automate security solutions
• Take the lead on implementing long-term and short-term solutions for the problems in the field of vulnerability management including setup and modification of processes

Must have Skills:

• French Speaking
• You have experience in managing vulnerabilities and setting up security solutions from concept to technical implementation
• You have at least 5 years' experience within vulnerability management or equivalent security practices where you must deal with security events.
• You have a very good understanding of the Software development life cycle in an Agile environment
• You have a very good understanding of the wide scale of technologies used in complex organizations and you can quickly understand the involvement of the different technological elements when analysing vulnerabilities
• You have very good analytical skills to capture the understanding of a problem and formulate potential solutions
• You have good writing skills to allow to write down analysis, which allows the management to make decisions based on the analysis
