An award-winning contractor specialising in construction and regeneration projects is seeking a self-motivated Training Manager to join their exceptional team in London. Join a professional yet familial team of six, working on diverse projects including demolition, concrete, and groundworks across central London.
The Training Manager Role
Take charge of training and guiding around 400 health and safety operatives with comprehensive training programs. Key responsibilities include:
Tracking operatives' training through the company's online portal.
Booking training courses and coordinating with project teams.
Assisting in developing grant and levy claims.
Supporting the apprentice program.
Traveling to sites as needed.
Attending meetings.
Managing operatives.
Forecasting and booking training sessions.
Handling training systems.
Supporting health and safety managers.The Training Manager
The perfect candidate will have:
A strong understanding of training requirements within the construction industry (e.g., CSCS, CPCS, etc.).
CSCS Card.
A Level 6 qualification, such as a diploma or degree in occupational health and safety or environmental health.
At least 3+ years of management experience.
A valid driving license and own vehicle.In Return?
Competitive salary: £50,000-£55,000
Monday to Friday, 8am-5:30pm
Office-based role
All travel expenses covered
Standard pension
23 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
