Application Support Analyst – Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

This advanced organisation based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire with good links to Kettering, Bedford & Northampton are looking for a talented Application Support Analyst with solid experience in supporting Oracle applications and hands-on experience providing production support with any Core Banking product. Ideally you will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role and will join their vibrant Support team.

Key responsibilities for this Application Support role include:

Financial Services, Banking or Online Banking experience
Supporting Core Banking applications
Completion of batch cycles & all the transaction processing
Create and maintain detailed service support documentation relevant to the applications as required
Responsibility for critical applications & ownership of incidents / service requests
Liaising with third parties to support software issuesSkills & Experience

Oracle Databases, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL skills
Java programming skills & basic Unix shell scripting
Unix Scripting skills
Flexcube and/or OBDX (highly advantageous)
Financial Services/Banking experience
You will be a motivated self-starter with excellent organisational and communication skills, ideally with hands on experience of supporting Applications / Software maintenance. You will be self-motivated and be able to project a professional image with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment and deadlines.
