Senior Accounting Specialist (Holding&Foundations) (Pharma) vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your tasks:

• Leading the preparation of annual statutory financial statements and accompanying notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Providing high-level financial services, addressing exceptions proactively and maintaining a strong customer service orientation
• Working closely with all functional areas of FRA Operations to ensure seamless accounting and financial reporting processes
• Driving process changes and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
• Overseeing the annual financial forecasting for investments, stocks, and M&A financial projects
• Serving as the primary contact for the annual financial asset valuation, collaborating with external providers to ensure precise reporting and valuation of the NVF financial asset portfolio

Your experience/knowledge:

• 5+ years of experience in similar position
• Proven experience in managing projects driving performance improvements
• Proficiency in SAP, IFRS and Swiss Statutory reporting
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Chartered Accountant
• Language skills: English - fluent, German would be advantageous
