Join our innovative Engineering Team! We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to collaborate with Quality, Design, and Production teams to create cutting-edge solutions and improve manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and introduce new machinery and equipment.
- Ensure designs meet compliance and safety standards.
- Implement process improvement initiatives.
- Develop DFM and DFA solutions.
- Quickly resolve production issues.
- Support new product introductions and update SOPs.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering to address part quality issues.
- Assess alternative component parts for supply chain continuity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering.
- Experience in product development and special purpose machinery design.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD systems (SolidWorks preferred).
- Ability to produce detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Familiarity with LEAN principles.
