Azure Data Engineer - Level 4

Location: Stockholm, Sweden (Hybrid Working)
Duration: Min 12 Month Contract + option to extend.
Start Date: August 2024
Language: Fluent & Written Swedish.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Data Engineer with strong Azure expertise to join a leading end client in Stockholm, Sweden on a hybrid working basis. This position is a minimum 12-month contract with the possibility of long-term extension, starting in August. Fluency in written and spoken Swedish is required.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain data flows to make data available to our data scientists.
• Design, implement and optimize automated data pipelines.
• Support data scientists in getting started with analyzes on the platform.
• Collaborate with teams to implement machine learning models.
• Develop and document architecture, guidelines and best practices for using Databricks with a focus on advanced analytics.
• Ensure data integrity and security standards are followed.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve data analysis processes.

Competencies and skills:

• Independent in designing, implementing, and optimizing automated data pipelines.
• Experience working with Public Cloud, preferably Azure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), for example Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience architecting and building data storage to serve advanced analytics.
• Knowledge of data modelling and management of large data sets with tools such as Spark.
• Programming in SQL and Python.
• DevOps/CICD experience.
