Technical Trainer

Location; Winsford, Cheshire

Hours; 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Salary; Up to £47,500 per year + Excellent Benefits

Are you a talented Master Technician ready to for a change in career? Our client is looking for a passionate individual to deliver engaging and informative training programs for technicians.

About the Role

As a Technical Trainer, you'll be part of a high-performing team in a state-of-the-art training environment equipped with the latest technology. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver core technical training programs to technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct core technical training programs, including EV, for dealer technicians.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, learner-focused training solutions aligned with TAP methodology.
  • Ensure all training sessions reflect the brand's culture and requirements.
  • Implement innovative digital technologies for remote learning.
  • Assist in course development as needed, focusing on learner-centric methods and TAP methodology.
  • Handle all administrative tasks related to training, such as completing course rosters, conducting pre-course and post-course briefings, scoring assignments/tests, and data entry.
  • Represent the company and the Training Academy at factory or brand-led events, including Train the Trainer sessions and Product Launches.
  • Achieve the standards outlined in yearly objectives and KPI/SLA agreements.

Skills and Experience Required;

  • Master Technician status and experience with automotive brands, ideally within the truck industry
  • Dynamic and engaging communication style
  • Up-to-date knowledge of learning and development theories, practices, and methodologies
  • Natural coaching abilities
  • Industry-recognised training accreditation and technical achievements (preferred)
  • Understanding of assessment tools linked to learning and development
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages
