Project Accountant

Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 pa
Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid)

Finitas has partnered with specialists in optimizing CapEx decisions, enhancing asset management, and maximizing investment value across sectors like defence, pharmaceutical, energy.

Requirements:

  • Project management/cost systems, including Microsoft Project
  • Strong commercial management and large framework experience
  • Familiarity with NEC4 and CEMAR is a plus
  • Proven project financial management skills
  • Experience with Xero accounting software

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with project management and business processes.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
  • Analyze project expenses and generate client reports.
  • Monitor project contracts to adhere to financial terms.
  • Support and administer large contractual frameworks.
  • Provide accurate weekly financial reports to Project Delivery Leads and PMO.
