Storage SME/Administrator - £480/day via umbrella - short term Contract - Plymouth on site - (SCC FLEX CONTRACT)

We are looking for a Storage SME/Administrator who will involve managing, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability of our storage systems.

Your key Responsibilities as the Storage SME/Administrator:

- Design, implement, and manage storage solutions.

- Monitor and optimize storage performance and capacity.

- Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues.

- Conduct vault technical appraisals with the team.

- Leverage Data Domain with VEEAM for optimization.

- Test and validate backups for recovery. Disaster recovery

- Define runbooks to recover critical materials/assets.

- Develop and maintain operational processes required to support CRS.

- Provide training for CRS.

- Manage Cyber Recovery Manager, CyberSense, and related Vault products.

- Stay updated with the latest storage technologies and best practices.

- Dell back-up.

As the suitable Infrastructure Storage SME/Administrator, you'll have:

- Proven experience as a Storage SME/Administrator or similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of storage systems (SAN, NAS, DAS, etc.).

- Proficiency in storage management tools and software.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Relevant certifications (eg, CompTIA Storage+, EMC, NetApp) are a plus.
