QUALITY ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £30 PER HOUR - BOLTON - 6 months (EXTENDABLE) - HYBRID - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW ONSITE

MERITUS are recruiting for Quality Engineers to join our client in Bolton on an initial 6 month contract to work on exciting defence programmes.

You will join the Non-Conformance team providing support to the Manufacturing teams in the UK

Responsibilities

• Frontline provision of non-conformance management supporting the Manufacturing functions, including the administration of non-conformities and containment activities
• Collation and analysis of non-conformance data through the business tool, Google NLP
• The collation of business KPI's
• Data analysing to include CQN (Rework/Scrap), returns and yields
• Facilitating Practical Problem-Solving activities, determining Root Causes and the effective implementation of Corrective Actions
• Supporting the successful transfer of new products into manufacturing, analysing historical data and using lessons learnt
• Facilitation of non-conformance meetings
• Managing Customer concerns and escapes

Skillset/experience required:

• Ability and confidence to report to all levels of the business
• Strong Practical problem-solving skills
• Good planning and organising skills
• Previous quality experience

Desirable

• Qualified to minimum HNC/HND/OND/ONC or degree level in relevant subject
