Kitchen Assistant

Salary – £11.50 per hour

Location – Dorchester

Hours – 30 hours a week (including weekends)

Contract – Temp to Perm

We are recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant for a Friendly and welcoming care home in Dorchester. In this role as a Kitchen Assistant you will be responsible assisting in the provision of nutritious food to the residents with a smile! Do you have experience as a kitchen assistant? If so then this may be the perfect role for you! As a Kitchen Assistant your role will include:

Assist in preparing meals, snacks and beverages for the residents.
Follow all H&S and Hygiene procedures throughout the kitchen to ensure standards are met.
Provide excellent customer service
To be successful is this role as a Kitchen Assistant you must demonstrate the following:

Previous experience within a kitchen environment.
Fantastic communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently independently as well as part of a team.
Food Hygiene qualification
Due to the nature of this role you will need to have an Enhanced DBS or willing to undertake new one (assistance will be provided).
