Technical & Planning Assistant
A regional house builder have a requirement for a Technical & Planning Assistant to be based out of their office in Kendal.
About the role - Technical & Planning Assistant
Reporting to the Design & Planning Manager you will work closely with the Technical Manager your duties will include:
Registering Warranties with LABC/NHBC
Technical Overviews/Site Reports
Updating details on the LABC Extranet/NHBC Portal
Updating sales prices
Applying for cover notes/certificate of insurance.
Liaising with local build control teams re CML's.
Collating commissioning certificates from subcontractors and submit to local authority
Processing Part L photographs
Registering for Openreach via Developer Portal
Applying for street naming/postal addresses
Registering for MPAN/MPRN with Services Design Team & Service Provider (EON)
Preparing Technical Handover Packages
Assisting the Planning & Technical Manager in formulation of new Planning Applications & ongoing submissions.
Distributing service design drawings to sites
Managing the drawing registers
Providing drawing packs for QS's tendering process.
Collating/recording site weekly paperwork - site diaries etc
Managing TQ's and respective registers.
General administration - Filing (Electronic and hard copy), advancing and enhancing existing system for consistency within SharePoint, covering phone when required
Requirements for the Technical & Planning Assistant
Previous experience in a similar role
Organised and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
