Python Software Engineer

Bristol/Cheltenham (Hybrid Working - one day per week in the office)

Salary - up to £70,000 + Bonus & Benefits

CPS Group are currently working with a global data and technology consultancy who are looking for an experienced Python Software Engineer to join the team on a new exciting project. The company work with a wide range of industries, ranging from hospitality to defence. They provide a wide range of services to clients including business intelligence, digital transformation, marketing, and more.

Due to the nature of work we require candidates to either have SC clearance or be eligible to obtain this level of clearance. The employer is looking to hire for this position in either the Bristol or Cheltenham office.

Candidate Skills / Experience:

We are looking for candidates who are ideally ticking most, if not all, of the below in terms of prior experience. However, our client is very open to considering candidates who are able to demonstrate competence in only some of these technical areas yet are eager and willing to close the skills gaps on the rest.

- Strong experience/knowledge of Python
- RESTful API Development
- Commercial experience with AWS or Azure
- Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD such as Gitlab or Jenkins
- Ideally some previous experience with Automated testing
