Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a dedicated SharePoint Administrator/Designer to join their team in Eastleigh. This is a permanent role, offering an exciting opportunity to influence the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a company-wide SharePoint remodel. Your work will enhance companywide communication, collaboration, document management, business activities, and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, design, implement, and continuously improve a group-wide SharePoint Intranet and associated sites.
Implement SharePoint site frameworks to enable the business to self-manage and develop their own content.
Manage site collections, ensure security compliance, and integrate SharePoint with other systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business needs, and design effective SharePoint solutions.
Explore how the business can make the best use of Microsoft Power Platform to enhance and automate business tasks and workflows.
Govern and maintain SharePoint administrator permissions, access, and new user requests.
Educate and promote the use of SharePoint among business users, establishing and developing best practice.
Implement and maintain a Document Management system template for various business SharePoint sites.
Design and implement a SharePoint site architecture that meets the needs of the overall group and its companies.
Provide technical expertise and support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal performance.
Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to develop and deliver end-user training.
Ensure compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards in all SharePoint development activities.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a SharePoint Online administrator with a strong portfolio of successful SharePoint projects, preferably within a large organisation.
In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform, SharePoint Online architecture, and Microsoft Power Automate functionality.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Apps including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of core security principles and practices within SharePoint Online.
Experience with using PowerShell and PnP PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
Proven experience in information security and data protection.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with IT Project Management, IT Change Management, and ITIL processes.
Formal Microsoft Qualifications and Certifications are desirable.
