Salesforce Administrator

Due to a full schedule of work with a growing organisation, we require additional capacity in our Salesforce Administration team,

Main Purpose

  • The purpose of this role is to assist with the day-to-day administration of our Salesforce instance, help implement small-medium size projects, support user training and provide support to the Senior Salesforce Manager and COO in large scale projects,

Key Responsibilities

  • All tasks relating to the day-to-day maintenance of the Salesforce and Kimble elements of our system
  • Administration and support of Salesforce users including roles, profiles and permissions
  • Design of system changes to solve business problems
  • Configuration of changes to the system including managing workflow rules, formula fields, approval and escalation rules, customisation of objects, fields, triggers, record types, page layouts and validations
  • Logging and tracking problems through to resolution
  • Ability to work closely with a diverse group of partners, including remote 3rd parties - an ambitious attitude and ability to engage directly with business users is essential for this role
  • Working with various partners to make continual improvements to the system based on new requirements and user feedback
  • Supporting QA, UAT and release of changes
  • Working with our Engineering team and 3rd party delivery partners to support project delivery

What we'd like you to have

  • Salesforce certifications - Certified Salesforce Administrator and Certified Platform Builder
  • Demonstrable experience of working with both Salesforce classic and Lightning Experience.
  • Experience working with the Kimble App system,
  • Ability to document user and technical guides to a high standard
  • Good awareness of the Salesforce ecosystem and associated technologies
  • Skills to build complex reports and dashboards in Salesforce
  • Experience with 3rd party applications (Conga, DocuSign)

Experience and Background

  • Has at least 1 year experience as a salesforce consultant (implementing projects) and more than 2 years working as a Salesforce.com administrator, preferably on a complex Salesforce set-up

  • Has commercial awareness (calculates cost and benefits of ideas)

Qualifications: Ideally a Salesforce accreditation or relevant industry qualification
