Our client, a notable entity in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking two Software Engineers on a contract basis to join their team. This opportunity focuses on a radar-based project spanning 6-12 months, involving full lifecycle development and requiring on-site presence of 3-4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing software solutions in C/C++ and C# within the defence industry
Engaging in full life cycle development, from initial concept through to deployment
Integrating software components and systems for radar-based applications
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to define project requirements and deliverables
Debugging, testing, and refining software to ensure reliability and performance
Documenting software architecture, design, and code according to project standards
Maintaining and updating existing software solutions as needed
Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback

Job Requirements:

Experience in software engineering, particularly within embedded C/C++ or C#
Proficiency in software integration and debugging techniques
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies
Experience working within the Defence & Security sector is highly desirable
Ability to work on-site 3-4 days per week
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
