Technical Analyst - Infrastructure & Network- Stoke-On-Trent
Hybrid 2-3 days on site per week / Stoke-on-Trent
£40,000 per annum
Our client is seeking a Technical Analyst to come on board to ensure the continuity of services. In this role, you'll be key in resolving 2nd and 3rd line tickets by offering support, guidance, and technical expertise. You'll also be responsible for deploying robust and flexible technical solutions as per the designs provided. Part of your role will include coaching and educating our clients' user base when needed.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
Demonstrable experience in managing and supporting on-premises and Azure networks.
Extensive knowledge of DHCP and DNS. Strong understanding of F5 Big-IP, firewall configurations, and Router/Firewall management.
Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining both on-premises and cloud network infrastructure.
In-depth knowledge of developing, designing, and operating cloud network services.
Proactively monitor the network using monitoring tools to prevent outages and performance issues.
Manage Wi-Fi in a large office environment, ensuring wireless network performance meets business requirements.
Excellent understanding of end-to-end network connectivity.
Demonstrable experience with network security principles.
Assist with advanced user and systems administration tasks, including Active Directory, Office 365, and Remote Desktop Services.
Manage and apply software and security updates to server OS and applications.
Organise and implement IT roll-out projects across the business.
Act as a point of escalation for complex tickets for both 2nd and 3rd line, assisting in their resolution.
