About the Role:
A leading technology company is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join their Corporate Team. This role involves leading a team of seasoned Solution Architects to ensure the quality of architecture across the organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to tackle technical troubleshooting and requirements identification, and skilled in coaching and motivating team members while managing stakeholder relationships from the C-suite to development and test teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Head of Architecture in defining and delivering the IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business direction.
Ensure the business strategy is achieved through proper technology system architecture.
Assist in refining and shaping change ideas, from small proactive changes to larger project-based or reactive changes.
Analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate existing IT systems for weaknesses.
Provide guidance on technical solutions and suppliers, shaping proposals acceptable to the business.
Act as technical input in RFP processes and technical supplier vetting.
Gather high-level and detailed requirements in conjunction with business representatives and technical teams.
Create high-level and detailed technical design documents for in-house and third-party system changes.
Ensure delivery conforms to approved designs, whether via in-house development or third-party integrators.
Review test cases and assist with troubleshooting during project delivery.
Provide technical input into production system incidents.
Ensure standard Architecture Team artifacts are updated and changes are understood and approved by the business.

Professional Skills:

Essential:

Recent senior software development experience.
Experience in technology-led business transformation projects.
Experience as an Enterprise Architect in a medium to large business.
Experience delivering large IT projects to time and budget.
SDLC experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
Experience with both greenfield and brownfield implementations.
Strong influencer, able to communicate effectively with multiple key stakeholders.
Experience with RAID process and working knowledge of TOGAF.
Microsoft Azure DevOps.
Microsoft .NET C#.
Microsoft SQL Server including Transact-SQL.
Microsoft PowerShell.
Microsoft Azure integration services such as API Management, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Azure AD & Service Bus.
REST API and JSON web services.

Desirable:

Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services.
Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.
Microsoft Office 365.
Microsoft Power BI.
Microsoft Power Platform.
Microsoft SharePoint.
XML Transformation Using XSLT.
Certified Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect.
Certification in TOGAF.
Product Knowledge:
Unit4 Agresso / Business World.
Tableau.
Warehouse Management systems
Sales Force Commerce Cloud.
Adobe (Magento) Commerce, including Business Intelligence.
Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
ServiceNow.
Dotdigital.
Anywhere365.
Ceridian Dayforce.
Tibco iProcess.
