Why Greencore?
We are a leading manufacturer of convenience food in the UK and our purpose is to make everyday taste better. We supply all of the major supermarkets in the UK. We also supply convenience and travel retail outlets, discounters, coffee shops, foodservice and other retailers. We carry out more than 10,600 direct to store deliveries each day. We have 21 world-class manufacturing units across 16 locations in the UK, with industry-leading technology and supply chain capabilities. We generated revenues of £1.7bn in FY22 and employ approximately 14,000 people.

IT Business Partner @Greencore
This is a brilliant opportunity to serve as the strategic interface within an assigned business area, for the purpose of technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and overall relationship management. You will build strong working relationships with senior leaders to inspire, innovate and ultimately prioritise a backlog of activities to maximise Greencore investment in IT.
What you'll be doing:
Own business area stakeholder management, developing key relationships to be able to influence, support and challenge when understanding functions priorities
Accountable for IT service outcomes and prioritise problem management activities to improve performance
Build alignment using roadmaps to ensure project priorities are clear and these flow through the IT delivery processes effectively
Define the scope and requirements of initiatives identified in the Roadmaps to work with IT architects on and build approach plans and Capital Proposals (scope, benefits, cost and timeline) which can be transitioned into the IT delivery team for execution
Deploy process and procedures in support of business change associated with the IT initiatives to help ensure adoption of the change and realisation of benefits
Represent Group IT in business function leadership forums
Manage the cost effectiveness of IT services to the business by identifying and delivering saving opportunities while staying aligned to the overall agreed technology roadmap, ensuring savings are made in line with budget
Support the achievement of our sustainability plan through leading with a sustainability mindset
Support the achievement of our Inclusion and Diversity aspirations through role modelling and personally leading and hiring inclusively, embracing and encouraging diversity
Implement and ensure compliance with our data management and governance policies, procedures and/or guidance governance approaches so that associated risks are mitigated and managedWhat we're looking for:
Educated to Degree level typically variety of different types of project experience, breadth working cross functionally, experience of agile project management
High level of technical understanding to interpret technical issues for the business and sustain credibility with IT
Understands, explains and presents complex technical roadmaps, priority planning and estimations to both technical and non[1]technical audiences at all levels up to the highest in a persuasive and convincing manner
Ability to translate business vision into executable IT / Business deliverables that can be delivered incrementally to maintain pace and manage the level of business change
Stakeholder Management skills, anticipates and tailors' approach to individuals, tenacious in the face of setback, and able to build support and influence through both formal and informal channels
Demonstrates sound practical knowledge of business processes, business requirements elicitation, process redesign and change management
Demonstrates sound practical knowledge of technical disciplines e.g. process re-design, systems development, and service / project delivery
Ability to translate business needs into compelling IT visions to generate commitment, and then transition into IT application solutions
Experience handling a remote and/or distributed team. Anticipates and understands the strengths and gaps of the team and takes action to ensure success and supports development & succession for the futureWhat you'll get in return:
