Sharepoint Administrator/Designer
* £48,000 – 50,000 + bonus + benefits
* Eastleigh

Leading manufacturing company are actively recruiting for an experienced Sharepoint Administrator/Designer support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a Group wide SharePoint remodel, delivering a fully functional central point communication hub holding one true source of shared information which will improve companywide communication, collaboration, document management, business activities and workflows.

Main responsibilities for the position of Sharepoint Administrator/Designer
* Administer, design, implement, and continuously improve a group-wide SharePoint Intranet and associated sites
* Implement SharePoint site frameworks to enable the business to self-manage and develop their own content
* Manage site collections, ensure security compliance, and integrate SharePoint with other systems.
* Collaborate with the Stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business needs, design effective SharePoint solutions that meet client objectives while identifying any enhancements, or technical innovations.
* Explore how the business can make the best use of Microsoft Power Platform, to enhance and automate business tasks and workflows
* Govern and maintain SharePoint administrator (permissions, access, and new user requests)
* Educate and promote the use of SharePoint amongst business users establishing and developing best practice
* Implement and maintain a Document Management system template that can be used across various business SharePoint sites (digitalising documents lifecycle from creation to archiving)
* Design and implement a SharePoint site architecture, including site collections, lists, libraries, and content types that meet the needs of the overall group and its companies
* Obtain business direction on the use of SharePoint to support group activities
* Provide technical expertise and support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal performance of SharePoint
* Work with the Learning and Development team to develop and deliver end user training and associated training materials to assist users with their SharePoint journey
* Ensure compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards in all SharePoint development activities
* Stay updated with the latest trends, features and best practices making recommendations for continuous improvement, and actively seek out opportunities to expand knowledge and understanding of any Microsoft 365 innovations.
Experience required for the position of Sharepoint Administrator/Designer
* Proven experience as a SharePoint Online administrator with a strong portfolio of successful SharePoint projects, preferably within a large organisation.
* In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform, SharePoint Online architecture, and Microsoft Power Automate functionality
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Apps including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
* Knowledge of core security principles and practices within SharePoint Online
* Experience with using PowerShell and running PnP PowerShell scripts skills including development of from-scratch scripting across Microsoft 365 services to automate manual tasks
