Tax & Treasury Manager
Pinpoint Resourcing are partnered with a growing construction business in London to source a Tax & Treasury Manager with strong tax experience, knowledge of VAT and ideally prior involvement or an interest to learn and take on all treasury related matters. This is the perfect role for someone working in a tax advisory role within practise to move into industry.
Responsibilities
* Manage Tax compliance process and coordinate the process of tax analysis
* Ensure prompt filing and payments to the HMRC.
* Identify capital allowances throughout the year and use tax advisors where appropriate on the larger/more difficult claims. Also looking into other potential claims such as R&D.
* To be responsible for most aspects of VAT including the production/review and filing of VAT returns, VAT elections, issues on acquisitions/sales and dealing with HMRC and external tax advisors.
* To manage all tax aspects of the integration process for corporate acquisitions.
* Keeping up to date with changes in legislation including CFA and considering implications for the business.
* To work closely with the Payroll Manager regarding the monthly payroll, PAYE/NI, PSA settlement, HMRC correspondence and share schemes.
* Providing support to the wider business or HMRC on any queries
* Look after the day to day Treasury Function by managing the group cash flow and drawing down/repaying loans when needed. Provide advice regarding investment of cash and put relevant procedures in place to maximise value.
* Organise interest/dividend/taxes/payroll etc payments. Organise CHAPS/BACS/Bankline payments as appropriate. Ensure safe receipt of incoming funds.
Requirements
* ATT or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
* At least 3 years working in a tax advisory role
* Desire to take on and learn treasury responsibilities
Salary +additional information
* £55,000-£70,000 DOE
* Travel allowance
* Training and development in treasury
