Radar Recruitment have been engaged by one of our key clients to support with bringing on board a Key Account Manager to supply Pharmaceutical products (Unlicensed Medicines) into the NHS across the South of the UK.

About the Key Account Manager role:
This is a newly created role and the Key Account Manager will be responsible for delivering the sales and profit targets through successful implementation of the strategic plan. This will involve identifying opportunities within the Unlicensed Medicines portfolio, both new and existing products, to grow the business.

Some of the key responsibilities for the Key Account Manager will involve the following:

Develop and implement a targeted and tactical sales plan focused on both the existing business accounts and new market opportunities that will achieve the growth objectives of the Company
Develop a tiered sales plan approach, identify, and meet with key accounts initially to increase sales and the number of products and drive growth within the accounts.
Regularly identify unlicensed medicines (ULMs) that are frequently used across the NHS and identify short supply products.
Collaborate effectively with the Operations Manager to keep up to date on the product sourcing and procurement of products.
Identify opportunities within hospitals across Stores / Procurement, Pharmacy and Aseptic.
Identify the key stakeholders within the hospitals to discuss product lines and build relationships and trust (unlicensed medicines and shortages).
Work with senior management to review and analyse sales data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets and opportunities. The ideal candidate for the Key Account Manager role will have the following background:

Prior Sales/Key Account Management selling Pharmaceutical products into the NHS (preferably Unlicensed Medicines).
A true collaborative personality and team player.
Operates with the highest levels of integrity, is transparent, respectful, and fearless.
Highly curious, commercial focused, self-motivated and achievement driven.
Flexibility to travel both within and outside of the UK as required (Must have a full and clean driving license) What you can expect from the business you are joining:
