Boston Hale is currently working with one of London's largest charitable housing associations who are looking to recruit a Capital Accountant. As a main point of contact between the Finance teams and other business units within the group, you will offer recommendations to support the Asset and Sustainability and Sales divisions achieve their goals and drive continuous improvement culture within the team.
Daily Duties
Main point of contact for all aspects of fixed asset accounting and key subject matter expert
Ensure information recorded and reported is timely accurate and in line with accounting policies
Support the Head of Capital and Asset Reporting in overseeing the financial implications of the Group's CAPEX and sales programmes
Manage large complex data sets and develop a programme for maintaining and managing the Group's fixed asset register
Manage and mentor team membersRequired experience:
Fully qualified
Prior capital accounting experience, ideally withing inventory, fixed assets, and investments
An strategic thinker who has offered operational guidance and offered solutions in previous roles
