Automation Resource Block/File

6 month initial contract

Remote working - UK Based

Purview's leading Tier 1 Banking Client are currently recruiting a Block/File Automation Resource on an initial 6 month contract with view to extend.

Key responsibilities:

* Identifying service owners/planning change schedules and resources requirement for the activities

* Support review, assess and implement remediation against cyber security threats such as vulnerabilities patching.

* Drive and develop automation.

* Carry out capacity planning and drive purchase requirement for Object environment.

Key requirements:

* University-level degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field with at least 2 to 5 years of experience

* Demonstrable experience with Storage platforms in Object area (or one of the below areas - Block, File, Data Protection)

* Experience in Dell EMC ECS, NetApp StorageGrid, Veritas Enterprise Vault, OpenText InfoArchive

* Experience with AWS, GCP, MS Azure, NAS, SAN and backup would be an advantage.

* Experience working within an Agile environment.

* Knowledge and experience in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Ansible, would be an advantage.

* Basic Server administration (Linux or Windows) and Virtualization knowledge

* Automation scripting with API (using scripting languages such as Ansible, Python etc.)
