MSBI Senior Developer - Microsoft - Business Intelligence

We are urgently looking for a Senior (10+ years) MSBI Developer for a long-term contract with a major global organisation in Nunhems, Netherlands.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • 10 or more years of demonstrated hands-on experience in creating technical specifications, application development, testing, tuning, and support of MSBI applications
  • Proficiency in all four components of MSBI (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS/SQL)
  • Ability to architect the Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions utilizing MS SQL Server 2012/2014 SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Power Pivot, Power View, Performance Point, integration with Excel and Sharepoint, tailoring solutions for Management dashboards, Financial Reporting and Operational Business Intelligence

What you will be doing:

  • Define Business Intelligence framework and data model, semantic layers and BI Metadata repositories to support reporting and administration.
  • Collaborate with application developers, business owners, and operation engineers to ensure the creation of production Business Intelligence designs and implementations.
  • Configure and optimize BI environment, which includes relational, and OLAP layers, and data migration components; work in collaboration with the data warehouse environment and team.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, design styles and best practices
