Description:

The Supply Chain Channel Manager will oversee all aspects of a portfolio including, product category management from new product launch to product end of life working cross-functionally to achieve optimal business results, ensuring the right product gets to the right place at the right time, with maximum efficiency.

The role involves direct engagement with the Category Marketing partners across the consumer segments as well as the internal teams within Devices Supply Chain such as Channel Managers, Customer Service, Demand and Supply Planning, S&OP, Operations, Fulfillment and Logistics.

This is a pivotal role connecting the supply chain with field teams and customers. Supporting a dedicated portfolio, this individual has the remit of working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business targets and high standards of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with proven skills in program & project management driving key initiatives with results through engagement with internal partners, have a solid acumen for demand and supply management, inventory management, collaborative planning and forecasting (CPFR), and business/performance management. The candidate will be a problem solver and be resourceful, creative and willing to work with and through others to be successful. Collaboration is a critical skill in this role. Strong verbal and written communication skills and analytical thinking are necessary for driving a high level of impact and influence in this capacity.

Consumer Supply Chain team - increased portfolio with addition of new gaming businesses, need to have additional support in the team to assist with evolution of processes & reporting as well as map new processes.

The team is responsible for all 1st Party hardware (Surface computing & gaming business) into retail channels across EMEA,

Responsibilities:

Develop & document end to end processes and reporting tools for the EMEA Consumer business, including customer inventory & consignment management

Support the onboarding of new accounts and SOP/Customer Implementation.

Operational performance of demand fulfillment activities including creation of best practice order book management and delivery of goods for the designated portfolio & working with field teams to imbed principles with customers.

Overall responsibility for product deliveries within the assigned customers and channels.

Development of key communication reports and processes for customers.

Programmatically oversee product launch and product transitions ensuring that the company is flawlessly managing customer expectations

Alignment with manufacturing & launch teams on promotions, launch, demand plans and sku level execution

Partner closely with Category Marketing, acting as the supply chain operations representative, driving short-term and long-term demand and supply balancing to achieve financial and operations targets

Drive optimal channel inventory to maximize revenue opportunities, ensure key customers are supported across all customer segments and mitigate risk (excess, stranded inventory

Ensure Channel Compliance including consignment inventory oversight & SOX compliance

Challenge the status quo via a growth mindset - strive for continuous improvement and customer-centrism in all aspects of decision making

Identifying and implementing transformational initiatives that deliver significant positive differentiators resulting in increased service level and performance with accounts both for supply and returns

Monitor and manage key business & channel metrics to influence continuous improvement and adherence to the process. Lead root cause investigations & cross-team efforts to drive necessary improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Supply Chain Operations, Operations, or Product Management

4-6 years supply chain, inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning (demand/supply), or channel management

Experience in delivering system & process improvements across the Order to Cash process

Proven track record for identifying and implementing new opportunities (program management) to create synergy and mitigate risk

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Cross-functional collaboration skill

Data-oriented, analytical and detail oriented, yet balanced with an ability to be able to step back from the data to draw out the right business approach for conclusion
