ServiceNow Developer - Must have ITAM Implementation experience

As a member of the ServiceNow Practice the ServiceNow Developer will configure ServiceNow modules (especially the ITAM module) based on requirements and driving them into the production environment.

You will also:

  • Develop and implement new applications on the ServiceNow platform
  • Leverage the automation and integration capabilities of ServiceNow.
  • Provide ServiceNow capability to deliver customer outcomes via the ServiceNow platform
  • Work closely with the Senior Business Analysts and customers to understand and translate their business and technical requirements, propose solutions to business problems and contribute to technical delivery.
  • Participate in design workshops including the creation of design specifications based on out-of-the-box functionality and customer requirements.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • ServiceNow Development:
    • Strong and proven background in developing on the ServiceNow platform
    • Have a strong and proven background in delivering on the ServiceNow platform
    • Develop the technical solutions, implement them, and perform the relevant component integration tests.
    • Align to best practice code and development standards
    • Ability to review code, overall solution and provide feedback to other team members
    • Manage customer defects and backlog for approved development elements of a customer delivery.
    • Able to work closely within a mixed development team that may include external development capability and ensure code and update sets are managed in line with ServiceNow best practices.
    • Previous experience of developing integration using spokes and 3rd party tooling.
    • Implementing ServiceNow ITSM modules as a technical resource with hands on development of:
      • Application configuration
      • Workflow configuration
      • UI configuration
  • Collaborate as part of a talented team of ServiceNow professionals to deliver changes and provide support to our client
  • Work closely with the Product Owner, Developers, and Programme Team to ensure the ServiceNow platform meets the evolving needs of the client
  • Input into technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of the ServiceNow platform
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects following best practice principles
  • Update documentation related to the Programme's scope as required

    • Technical Skills:
      • 2+ years of working experience on ServiceNow in E2E implementation of various modules in ServiceNow, including 1+ implementation in an ITAM suite (HAM Pro/SAM Pro).
      • ServiceNow Certifications: Required: CSA +1 Desired CIS-ITSM, CIS-HAM or CIS-SAM.
      • Should have knowledge on ServicePortal and angular JS
      • Proven implementation of integrations with 3rd party tools, preferably with HAM Pro, CMDB or ITSM
      • Proficient in Flow Designer, Workflow and Automation
      • Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture
      • ITIL v3 certification is desired with an understanding of IT Asset Management processes
      • Proficient in Javascript and familiarity with ServiceNow APIs.
      • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Web technologies and working in SaaS environments.
      • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO, ServiceNow Mid Server and other such technologies
