Workday Project Manager | 6 months | Netherlands

* IT Project Manager (PM) request is for the multi-year HR Transformation and Digitalization Programme.
* The HR Transformation is enabled by the migration to Workday SaaS solution
* The Programme is structured in Process Teams, supported by Technical Capability Teams.
* The requested IT PM is part of two Process Teams, being Time Management and Performance Management. The IT PM works in close collaboration with the HR Process Lead and HR PM to manage and assure plan delivery including resource planning and management.
* The PM will work with IT analysts to determine scope and requirements and to determine the approach for IT delivery of project releases and enhancements according to IT roadmaps that are agreed with stakeholders such as portfolio managers and architects, as well as business user communities.

As Project Manager you plan, control and execute a project or set of related projects to meet identified business needs and deliver business value, through acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.

This position has the following accountabilities:
* Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all aspects of the project life cycle.
* Rigorously manage scope through a structured change management process to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters with focus on delivering the business benefits.
* Apply Shell project management and IT control/assurance methodologies, standards and processes including architecture, information risk management, and transition to support.
* Create a motivated high-performing team through team building, information sharing, workload management, and appropriate recognition. Develop the skills of team members through coaching and delegation.
* Establish and maintain appropriate and effective Governance structures and procedures to obtain resources, drive decisions, resolve issues, and deliver project objectives.
* Identify and address the major factors, assumptions and risks (including technical, business, adoption, organizational, government, cultural, etc.) that may influence project direction and success. As parameters and external influences change, adjust the project approach to improve the delivery of intended benefits.

Key Skills & Requirements:

* A 4-year degree in IT or a related field
* Typical Experience: 15+ years in IT with 8+ years of experience in establishing and delivering progressively larger and more complex projects at an ERP level
* HR Time and Performance Management systems implementations will be a key differentiator in a Energy, Manufacturing, Capital Infrastructure or similar industries will be a key differentiator for selection
* Agile project experience.
* Good understanding and experience of the various Agile frameworks
* Experience planning and leading of Agile projects and educating stakeholders and others involved while managing a project
* Agile certifications/trainings preferred
* Experience in Agile tooling (ex -VSTS) is a must.
* Exhibiting servant leadership behavior, empowerment and increasing transparency that enables self-organization of teams
* Professional certifications related to project or programme management (eg PMP or MSP).
* Demonstrated learning agility in ambiguous and unfamiliar situations
* Very strong stakeholder management skills, including coaching senior stakeholders, managing governance bodies, and creating executive-level communications
