Here at Harvey Nash we're delighted to be working with our client on an exclusive basis to recruit a IT Support Technician.

You will be responsible for assisting end users with IT support and maintenance - from initial customer request through to final resolution. Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues relating to hardware, networking, operating systems and applications to a non-technical audience.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1st line technical support to users by, monitoring and prioritising, user requests using our IT helpdesk system, ensuring all user tickets are assigned, responded to and closed off within SLA.
  • Office 365 Support
  • Computer, Tablet, and mobile phone builds, rebuilds and configuration.
  • Telephony configuration and management.
  • Diagnosing software and hardware problems, as well as undertaking repairs and upgrades.
  • Monitoring and maintaining backup systems across the business.

The role would be onsite 5 days per week with occasional travel to our clients sites.

I'm looking to speak with candidates who have worked within a busy IT support environment with good working knowledge of Windows 7, 10 and 11 operating systems. Microsoft 365 platform support and strong interpersonal skills.
