Power Apps Software Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support Power Apps and SharePoint Online applications.
  • Ensure application services for Nuclear Operations are maintained and updated.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Create workflows and automation using Power Automate.
  • Stay updated with the latest SharePoint, Power Platform, and Azure features.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in Power Apps and SharePoint Online development.
  • Experience with Azure, GitHub, ALM Accelerator, and Oracle APEX is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a focus on standards and attention to detail.
  • Experience in IT support and software development.
  • Familiarity with modern software development methods and DevOps principles.

Ideal Candidate (preferred)

  • Computing, Engineering, or Science (degree preferred).
  • Understanding of nuclear safety, licence conditions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of IT projects within Nuclear Operations.
  • Ability to lead discussions on requirements and development, making informed decisions.

Location and Benefits

  • Based in Gloucester or Glasgow, with office attendance required 2-3 days a week.
