Exciting new opportunity to join a leading construction group in Aberdeenshire. The role involves managing all aspects of document control, ensuring that systems, processes, and reporting requirements for all clients are met by strictly following established procedures.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Maintain a comprehensive document control system, including field systems, to meet project-specific requirements.
Lead the upgrade implementation of document control systems.
Create document templates.
Convert information from project teams into user-friendly documents.
Number and label documents for identification and reference.
Scan, copy, and distribute documents to project team members and stakeholders.
Track documents to maintain confidentiality.
Review and revise documents for accuracy.
Liaise with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements.
Train document specialists and other employees on document systems.
Stay up to date with all company policies, procedures, industry legislation, and guidance relevant to your field.
Assist with archiving project documents, ensuring retained information is current and relevant.

Qualifications & Competency:

Significant experience in a document control role.
Ability to convey and enforce document control services.
Strong understanding of document control applications, systems, and processes.
Attention to detail to ensure document accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Excellent filing and organisational skills for document storage.
Industry-specific technical knowledge, including familiarity with industry terms, policies, and processes.

Hours:

Mon-Fri office based

Salary:

Competitive
