We are looking for experienced Senior Manager - IT Advisory professional within the IT consulting sector at Senior Manager level grade. The Senior Manager role is a client facing, business development and senior delivery position within Wavestone.

The primary objectives are to lead delivery on client site assignments to a high standard and drive new business and revenue for Wavestone. Wavestone UK is expanding significantly, driven by market demand for consulting advice/support of its core focus areas.

We are looking for IT Management Consultants at Senior Manager level with experience in delivery IT Transformation programmes, these could include:

  • Agile/Digital Transformation (Strategy definition and implementation, IT operating model design, Strategic sourcing and Digital IS/IT strategy, transformation project/program management)
  • Cloud Adoption and IT Infrastructure Transformation
  • Cyber Security (Strategy/Maturity, Risk Assessment, Data Privacy and Identity Mgt etc)
  • Smart Networks (SD-WAN, Network Design, MPLS, Voice and Security)
  • IT and data architecture design and IT Automation
  • Digital workplace design (O365, Google Apps, Unified Communications, etc)
  • Emerging technologies (Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, etc)

Skills and experienced required

  • A successful degree-level academic background
  • Proven leadership, oversight and governance of large global IT Transformation programmes
  • Proven business development experience and a key contributor to helping to driving revenue
  • Customer-focused mentality to understand and appropriately respond to customers business needs
  • To present solutions to senior management level customers
  • To lead bid response to solutions that meet or exceed the customer requirements
  • Proven IT consulting skills and experience of working in large complex environments delivering engagements
  • You will be committed to quality and on-schedule delivery; proven ability to establish and meet milestones and deadlines
  • Exceptional drive, interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to interface effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, and senior management to help develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in
  • A collaborative working style and strong evidence of being a leader
  • Excellent presentation, report writing and articulation skills
  • Candidates must also be able to commute to our London offices and work on any UK wide customer site when required
