My client, an FX scale up based in London, are looking for an Application Support Developer to support the business through an exciting growth period. You'll have the opportunity to work on a bespoke inhouse system, providing support to an integral part of the business. There are plenty of opportunities to learn and grow as the business develops, you'll collaborate with cross functional teams in an agile environment & you'll be exposed to various aspects of the business.
About you:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.
* Awareness of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
* Competency in Azure SQL, Logic apps, Dynamics CRM and application monitoring tools such as Azure log analytics and App Insights.
* Knowledge of Azure Cloud PaaS and SaaS solutions & knowledge of C#, .NET & Angular
The Application Support Developer will:
* Oversee daily application support tickets, ensuring timely issue resolution and excellent customer service. Prioritize and escalate critical problems as needed.
* Collaborate with support and engineering teams to promptly identify and fix bugs.
* Monitor and enhance application performance through regular system upgrades to maintain optimal performance and security.
* Assist in integrating new applications and systems into the IT environment, participating in testing, rollout, and post-deployment support.
* Develop and maintain detailed documentation for application support processes and procedures. Create user guides and training materials, and regularly update them to ensure accuracy and relevance.
