Business Development Manager (Executive Education) - B2B - Corporate Learning - London - Up to £65,000 + 40% bonus

Arnold Ash have been exclusively retained by a market leading global Consulting and Corporate Training Learning business to identify and attract a Business Development Manager with a track record in the Executive Education/Corporate Learning industry. Based in London, this role will be reporting into the Head of Sales and be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with large organisations across the UK, developing a pipeline of opportunities to deliver against the sales and revenue targets. You should have experience in the Corporate Learning, Executive Education or Learning & Development industry as well as a practical knowledge of the "challenger" and/or consultative sales approach. This is very much a hunter role ideal for a proactive Business Development professional who are keen to enter a business where they can grow and be supported.

Experience required from the Business Development Manager:

  • 5+ years of proven sales hunting' experience in service sectors
  • Account management experience
  • Client-focused solutions experience
  • Project management skills
  • Experience in executive education desired
  • Salesforce CRM knowledge required
  • Ability to diagnose and communicate client needs with all internal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
  • Be familiar with challenger/consultative sales approach

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • LEAD CONVERSION; Work in collaboration with the Marketing department to engage and pursue key prospects in target markets. Manage the full sales cycle: research prospects and build a new business pipeline with multiple client touchpoints ensuring the creation of a long and sustainable relationships to develop new opportunities and win new business.
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: This role is primarily one of hunter' for prospecting, attracting and converting new clients.
  • MARKET INTELLIGENCE & INDUSTRY UNDERSTANDING: Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and market strategies that can be used to attract clients.
  • PROPOSAL PRESENTATION: The BD Manager will work in partnership with the Learning Design and Customer Experience team in the proposal design stage
  • CLIENT PARTNERSHIP: The BD Manager has a fluent relationship with the Customer Experience team assigned to each client so when new opportunities are identified, these can be converted into a new proposal.
  • COMPANY REPRESENTATION: Ambassadorial role to enhance the company's reputation across the region with leads, media, industry participants and competitors.
