The role of Sales Executive is pivotal to the commercial operations of Genesis Biosciences. Supporting sales functions throughout Europe based at our Cardiff facility and also in the field with clients and other team members.
The role will be both challenging and rewarding with no two weeks being the same. Travel will be required to visit customers sites and occasionally this will be international.
Effectively communicating the company's values and understanding our product ranges and educating customers both over the telephone, by email or in the field is an integral part of the role however full training and support will be offered throughout.
Reporting and administration form an important part of this role therefore attention to detail and effective written communication are essential.
Responsibilities will include:
Supporting strategic account management programmes.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers and distributors.
Attend customer meetings and deliver sales presentations.
Support distributors with product introductions.
Use industry contacts, lead generation software and social media to generate new business leads
Qualify leads and maintain the CRM database.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, Including daily call reports, weekly activity reports, and quarterly and annual account analysis.
Manage own sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to commercial success.
Forecast sales to enable operations planning, introduce product innovation suggestions and maintain active memberships of trade related bodies.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.Salary and benefits
Salary of £20K-£24K per year depending on experience.
Generous commission-based bonus annually.
Monthly car allowance.
