My client based in Ashby are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent basis



As an Accounts Assistant your key responsibilities will include but not restricted to:



• Maintenance and ownership of Purchase Ledger

• Processing weekly payment runs

• Supplier statement reconciliations

• Resolving supplier queries

• Building relationships with internal and external personnel

• Bank Reconciliations

• Assisting on month end duties

• Liaising with Auditors at year end

• Other ad-hoc duties as required



What experience do I need?



• Accounts

• Strong Excel and IT skills

• Good working knowledge of accounting systems – preferably Sage

• Exposure to foreign currency transactions

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

• Organisation and planning

• Ability to meet imposed deadlines and work under pressure

• Proactive and positive attitude
