Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. This role is based in Glasgow City Centre with a pay rate of £11.00 per hour.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor work allocations, contract transactions and to work with Technical Services Teams to ensure that processes support accurate, relevant and reliable information.
To lead on the issue of contract pricing enquiries (up to £25K) and receipt of contract estimates and quotes. Review compliance against framework and contract terms and conditions, policies and procedures. Prepare and forward recommendations to budget holder for consideration.
To receive, and analyse contractors' payment applications. Ensure there is compliance with all contract terms, financial regulations, policies and procedures
To ensure the integrity of the financial systems through the regular goods receipting, accurate loading of data, internal re-charges, journals and, and requesting of appropriate financial reconciliations.
To support Contracts Supervisors in the preparation of monthly management and year-end accounts and forecasts. Provide accurate and high quality management reports through a robust review process including monthly reconciliations.
To input data and ensure financial reconciliation of the Utility Management System (TEAM) to the Agresso financial ledger.
To fulfil the role as Super User for relevant data and modules within Computer Aided Facilities management system (Quemis), providing key support and training to relevant users. To maintain key data on contractors and operatives and run relevant reports and exports on key IT systems including CAFM systems (Quemis) and Contractor sign in applications.
Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proven excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving ability with the initiative and judgement to resolve matters independently.
Excellent IT skills, with advanced capability in Advanced Excel, analyse and manipulate data and present management information using a range of industry standard and accounting software.
Part qualified or working towards a recognised accounting or management qualification.
Understanding of the process of budgeting within a large complex environment
