Need a career focused individual with experience of selling solutions packages in reciprocating and rotating kit such as hydraulics, pumps, bearings, valves, seals etc.

A mechanical apprenticeship or HNC or HND ideally required for the right person, as well as excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
This is an outstanding and rare opportunity for an ambitious mechanical sales or applications engineer from a reciprocating or rotating kit background. You will be working for a globally renowned market leader in a leading edge process industry who offer a challenging and dynamic working environment which lends itself to ambitious people.
The role is indeed challenging and diverse comprising of providing technical package solutions to customers bespoke requirements for a wide variety of products and their applications. The split will be 80/20 bias towards repeat business and customer relationship building with a focus on business development. You will be responsible for the North West and an average order value of £20 to 100k. Your role involves understanding the customer's individual requirements and liaising with other departments to ensure the right solution is put in place on time and to the right cost. You will also be negotiating prices and contracts and handling customer enquiries and quotations.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and a track record of liaising with internal engineers, customers and suppliers. You also need a track record in a mechanical technical sales role in a reciprocating or rotating kit environment such as hydraulics, pumps, compressors, bearings, valves or seals and have a track record in growing and retaining existing accounts. Appropriate industries where you have applied your sales skills could include paper, chemical, oil and gas or similar heavy process environments. As you will have previously been employed in an engineering role you will also possess a mechanical qualification. Excellent training and professional development will be provided, allowing you to gain further responsibilities and progression into senior sales or management roles.
