Hardware Specialist/Technical Support

Location - Cork, Ireland

Contract term - 12 months

Requirement:

  • Depot Services - T&M - receive, store, inventory and forward logistics; the device refresh is expected to occur over the period of the first 3-4 months;
  • Direct ship devices (to office/home/remote) to employees for asset refresh; It is our assumption that some devices will be provided onsite, but many will require shipment to end users throughout EMEA. We do not have an exact number of devices or a list of countries as of yet. It will be important for us to vet this out further during the transition period;
  • Asset tagging, power test, MDM enrolment and imaging via "Workspace ONE Drop Shipping" to end users (using MS Autopilot cloud); The primary skill set is supporting experience with Apple devices. Based on our discussions with the customer, our focus is meant to leverage the base/generic image and simply set up MDM enrolment for self-provisioning by the end user. Imaging assistance may be needed from time to time, but the end users are responsible for imaging;
  • Device count - 300 approx.;
  • HW Procurement & Ownership Out of Scope (client retained);
  • HW Installation - Installation of the Imaging and other software related stuff before shipping into the End User;
  • HW Maintenance - Warranty Coordination with the OEM (Apple or Dell);
  • Telecommunications - WAN or other transport - Out of Scope, Client retained.

Additional information:

  1. Cork, Ireland is where the customer is located. The customer will be responsible for providing Depot support area, workspace, telephony, network connectivity, secured storage space for devices, and necessary tooling and applications for device management.
  2. More clarity on the requirement: this includes receiving, storing, inventory and direct shipment of devices (office/home/remote) to existing employees. Depot resources will need to perform asset tagging, power test, MDM enrolment and imaging via End Customer-provided enterprise mobility management tool.
  3. Resources having experience with either Apple Business Management, Workspace ONE or JAMF is required.
