After mapping out a clear five-year plan and investing a huge amount of capital into new machinery and quality processes, now is the time to join this progressive engineering company. My client have worked tremendously hard to identify a huge gap in the market and now occupy up to 90% of it. As the successful Manufacturing Engineer, you will be joining the leading manufacturer of couplings for air brake lines on commercial and agricultural vehicles working to BS AU 138a:1980 and BS AU 138b:2000 standards. Daily, you will enjoy a varied workload including CNC programming, maintaining the machinery and troubleshooting any issues that may arise and developing the manufacturing process whilst improving lead time and minimising waste.
In order to be considered for the Manufacturing Engineering role, you will be able to:
Display a background in CNC programming, setting and operating
Offer a willingness to undertake various roles when required, including general maintenance of machinery
Develop and improve the current manufacturing process
Assist in the design and testing of new productsAs well as the above, you will display fantastic interpersonal skills, a willingness to attend company provided training and offer a positive attitude within the workplace. My client is really looking for a candidate who will offer a solid background in CNC manufacturing and is willing to offer the successful candidate training and upskilling on the specific machinery and programme that they operate.
This position is paying an annual salary between £34,000.00 to £38,000.00 depending upon experience and offers a family friendly dayshift with an early finish every Friday.
