The business is a global manufacturer, and supplier of a wide range of high-quality products for the aerospace and defence sectors, with sites across the world they are part of the biggest Aerospace manufacturing group in the world. With a huge site based in Leicester, they have superb manufacturing facilities ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved. Part of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance, this company retains the reputation of a market leader in this industry by attention to detail and business excellence.

Working hours are 39hrs per week 7:30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday, with a 12:30pm finish on Friday

Benefits include a salary of up to £32K, but would be negotiable for the right person, overtime availability, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a company pension scheme with up to 5% employer contributions, production bonuses, training packages, and various other team incentives.

Responsibilities for the role include -

- To carry out planned preventative maintenance to a range of CNC, manual and automated machinery, and any other ancillary plant

- Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs to machinery when necessary

- Assist with further developing the TPM plans to help implement predictive maintenance

- Carry out analysis and investigations using failure mode analysis and route cause analysis tools (5 whys)

- Report conclusions to the manager make recommendations for improvements

- To comply with legal requirements and to work within Company health and safety guidelines

- Supporting the manager with facilitating the in house CMMS

We would love to hear from you if you've had experience in the following -

- Multi skilled engineer, shift maintenance engineer, electrical engineer, machine technician

- Strong knowledge of TPM's and PPM's

- 17th Edition Wiring regs certificate

- Understand and interpret Electrical & mechanical drawings and schematics

- Working knowledge of CNC machinery and heavy plant
