Job Title: Pre-Post Sales Drilling Engineer
Location: Houston, Texas
Rapidly growing Houston based software company has an immediate opening for a Pre-Post Sales Drilling Engineer for a permanent position. This company specializes in software for the Drilling industry.
1-5 years of experience with pre-post sales or similar experience
Strong understanding of technology
Bachelor's Degree is required with Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science preferred
General knowledge of the drilling industry is strongly preferred.
This role will be responsible for demonstrating software to both existing and prospective clients. Will assist with managing implementations after the sales are complete. Must have excellent follow through and great communication/presentation skills. Must be able to understand client requirements and demonstrate them in product demonstrations.
Additional responsibilities include:
Translate the high-level organizational objective to a series of executable projects that can be delivered.
Regularly assess risks and opportunities; understand best practices, drive for process improvements, and find new ways of operating, with a focus on simplification and productivity.
Must have excellent customer service skills
Have experience developing new processes and demonstrated flexibility to get things done.
Ability to ramp up quickly and learn new technologies with minimal lag time.
All candidates should be local to the Houston area and available to work Full time on-site.
