This advanced dynamic organisation based in Stockport are looking to recruit a Development Manager to manage the development department and manage the development release of all their products.
This is a hands-on role and the ideal candidate will have 5 years in a similar team leading/development manager role where you will be responsible for managing the resource within the development department and ensure deliverables are met and will report and monitor all progress.
This organisation has an extensive track record of delivering cutting edge technology and with recent successes in securing new clients and projects they are looking to recruit for this integral role. The role consists of hands on development and team leading. You will champion good practice in development standards and documentation within an Agile environment.
Core skills & experience;
Experience in developing within Microsoft.NET, C#, ASP.Net
Experienced at programming in SQL and the design and implementation of databases (especially Microsoft SQL Server)
Technically up-to-date and familiar with current best practices within the software industry
Understanding and experience in development lifecycles.
Providing mentoring and training to junior members of the team
The successful Development Manager will be able to drive initiatives across the department, leading from the front whilst coming from a strong Agile/Scrum background.
