Technical Program Lead (HR Systems)
One of my globally leading financial clients is urgently looking for a Technical Program lead. The successful Technical Program Lead will have come from a Program Director level responsibility/prior job. You will be tasked with leading my clients global HR systems and therefore strong technical knowledge of global HR systems is essential.
If successful you would be working in the client's offices in Amsterdam, Netherlands on a 9 month contract with likely extensions.
The successful Technical Program Lead will ideally have the following responsibilities:
. The role requires strong strategic partnership and interaction with relevant P&Ls CIO's, Project teams and shared services teams as well as with functional business leadership teams.
. Hands-on experience in leading the implementations and integration of global HR systems.
. Ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget and with high quality in a highly competitive environment
. Provides work direction and guidance to members of the Project Team - personnel from business and IT
. As the Program Management Lead, responsible for the execution of key strategic integration and roll out of various HR systems within designated business areas.
. Developing detailed schedules and detailed assignments setting objectives and goals for the different sites, work-streams and individual team members.
. Timely identification of key risks leading the team in the development and proactive implementation of actionable mitigation and contingency plans.
. Understanding, communicating and resolving inter dependencies/conflicts between various standalone country HR systems.
. Developing standardized communication tools for integration projects - Project Schedules, Communication Templates for the different layers of stake-holders, dashboards to update on projects regularly.
The successful Technical Program Lead will ideally have the following skills:
. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering.
. 15 or more years of professional experience in Software Development Project Management including large portfolio and financial management leading cross functional initiatives and organizations.
. Successful implementation experience in rolling out global HR functions.
. Demonstrated competency in project management and execution of multiple and larger projects.
. Strong leadership skills directing technical and functional professionals.
. Professional experience in leading multi-cultural, functional teams.
. Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
. Strong IT Leadership experience and execution.
. Superior written and oral communication skills.
. Team leader & strong vendor management experience.
. Infrastructure/hardware Knowledge.
. Strong interpersonal, facilitation, communication and presentation skills to lead design sessions with business and technical audiences to come up with solutions.
. Demonstrated experience working in a global, Matrix environment with global teams.
. Experience working with program management methodologies like Agile, DevOps etc.
. Strong ability to identify, recruit & develop both seasoned and junior IT talent.
. Experience leading both local and remote (international) resources.
. Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities.
Employment type Contract (9 months and possible extension)
