Although standard hours are 39hrs per week, you must be prepared to work 48hrs per week from 6am - 4pm Monday to Friday

Hours are paid as 39hrs at basic rate, and an extra 8.5hrs at Time & ¼

Benefits include an hourly rate of up to £8.50 - £10 p/h, Time & ½ on Saturday till Midday, Double Time after midday Saturdays & Sundays, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Company pension scheme and other benefits

Based in Nottingham, this role would easily be commutable from areas such as Mansfield, Long Eaton, Derby, Kirky In Ashfield, Sutton In Ashfield, and Loughborough.

Responsibilities for the CNC Lathe Operator include -



- Working on a range of 2 & 3 axis Turning Lathes within the section

- Changing offsets, worn tips and tooling

- Loading and unloading the machine with material

- Removing swarf and ensuring the machine is kept at optimum levels

- Routine inspection of parts using measuring equipment

- Producing medium to high volume components from high value materials including aluminium and alloys

- Adhering to all health and safety procedures and general upkeep / maintenance of the equipment and work areas daily



We would love to hear from you if you've had experience in the following -



- CNC Turner, Lathe Operator, CNC Operator, Turning Lathe machinist

- Be able to confidently operate various machines using FANUC controls

- Confident with high frequency setups for large batch runs

- Understand and interpret 2D & 3D drawings

- Flexibility towards overtime when required
