Customer Service Player Support

18 months

£130 - £160 per day inside IR35 PAYE

My client one of the Top 5 leading game studios is looking to hire a dedicated Customer Service Agent to join the Player Support team. As a Customer Service Agent you'll be responsible for handling enquiries that may require further investigation, understanding players' issues and communicating effectively with both players and team members.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented team in a supportive environment, where your contributions will shape player experiences and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle player inquiries and issues, facilitating effective communication between players and internal teams.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving player concerns promptly to minimise impact.
  • Review and refine policies to enhance overall player experience.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems, leveraging a background in technical support or PC compliance.
  • Advocate for customer best practices while collaborating closely with development teams.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in online customer service operations
  • Maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient troubleshooter with a logical mindset.
  • Experience in technical support or customer service, ideally in gaming or online moderation.
  • A keen interest in PC and/or console gaming (preferably Microsoft Xbox or Sony Playstation)
  • Safety and compliance background would be beneficial.
